The World of Hyatt program still uses a static award chart. This matters. Most competitors use dynamic pricing, meaning costs swing wildly. Hyatt keeps it predictable. Category 4 hotels range from 12,00 points on the lowest nights to 25,0 on top nights.
Why Category 4 specifically? It is the sweet spot.
You get Category 1–4 certificates from the World of Hyatt credit card, Milestone Rewards, or brand promotions. Using those certificates at a Category 4 property maximizes value. Why stretch them thin on a Category 1 hotel? Spend the full certificate where the experience matches the tier.
